OUR WARRANTY

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Hosetract Industries, Inc. warrants its products for two years from the date of shipment, provided they are properly installed, maintained, and operated according to Hosetract’s instructions. Products found defective upon inspection will be replaced free of charge, including shipping to the customer.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or products that Hosetract determines have been subjected to accident, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or maintenance. Examples of normal wear and tear include paint finish, hose stop, hose, wear on swivel joint seals, and wear on switch or motor brushes.

The warranty is void if the product or any component has been altered, tampered with, or repaired by anyone other than authorized service personnel. Additionally:

• Failing to use a flexible inlet connection (inlet hose) voids the swivel joint warranty.
• Failing to use a properly sized circuit breaker on electric rewind motors voids the motor warranty.

Hose

All hose supplied by Hosetract is sourced from reliable suppliers and recommended for specific applications based on available data. Hosetract is not responsible for any other uses. The hose carries the manufacturer's 90-day warranty.

Shipment and Responsibility

Hosetract’s responsibility ends upon delivery to the common carrier. Shipments are not insured beyond this point unless requested.

Limitations

Hosetract assumes no responsibility for incorrect model selection, operation beyond rated capacity, or usage outside design parameters.

Product Modifications

Hosetract reserves the right to modify materials, dimensions, design, or construction as necessary to improve product performance or meet delivery timelines.

Order Leadtime

Most standard items ship within five to ten business days. Please contact customer service to confirm availability.

RETURN POLICY

Products returned to Hosetract, prepaid for warranty inspection, will be repaired or replaced at no cost if deemed defective, at Hosetract’s discretion. All returns must be prepaid unless otherwise specified in the Return Goods Authorization (RGA). Returns are not accepted if the product is used, damaged due to improper packaging, tampered with, or altered from its original condition.

A 25% restocking and handling fee applies to standard catalog reels and parts. Custom reels built to customer specifications are non-returnable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, you ("Buyer") accept these terms as the only terms governing the sale. Any other terms in your order are rejected. Custom terms can be negotiated but must be signed by an authorized Seller representative.

1. Shipping & Delivery:

Ship dates are estimates. Seller is not liable for delays unless specific penalties are agreed upon in writing. Seller ships order complete; no backorders are accepted.

2. Pricing:

Prices are F.O.B Factory and may change at any time, including after the order date, and the Buyer is responsible for the price at the time of shipment. Taxes are added to the purchase price unless stated otherwise.

3. Freight

F.O.B. Factory. Hosetract’s responsibility ends when the shipment is transferred to the carrier. The consignee is responsible for filing claims for any freight damage or shortages.

4. Payment Terms:

Net 30 days from the invoice date on approved credit. Past due amounts incur a 2% monthly finance charge, and all collection costs are the Buyer’s responsibility. Minimum order of $20.00.

5. Order Changes:

Changes to ship dates, prices, or quantities are accepted only with Seller’s written approval and do not modify these terms.

6. Returns & Nonconforming Products:

Nonconforming products can be returned within 30 days with written approval. Authorized returns must be shipped prepaid and in good condition.

7. Part Number Responsibility:

Ensure the part numbers on your order match the correct Seller part numbers. Notify Seller in writing of any drawing revisions or changes.

8. Cancellation Policy:

Non-custom products can be canceled with a 5-day notice and a 15% handling fee. Custom products require 60 days’ notice and incur a 50% charge.

9. Rescheduling & Shipping Risk:

Original ship dates cannot be extended beyond six months. Seller may cancel if shipment is postponed more than three months beyond the original date. Risk of loss transfers to Buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

10. Authorized Resellers Only:

Resale of Seller’s products is limited to authorized resellers. Buyer agrees not to resell without permission.

11. Intellectual Property:

All tooling and intellectual property used for manufacturing remain Seller’s property unless sold separately.

12. Limited Warranty:

Products are warranted for 2 years (or as specified for certain items). Warranty is void if products are improperly installed, misused, or modified.

13. Limitation of Liability:

Seller’s liability is limited to product replacement or credit, and Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

14. Governing Law:

The agreement is governed by Indiana law, with disputes resolved in Allen County or the Northern District of Indiana. By placing an order, Buyer agrees to these terms.
